About Good Enough To EatAll of the miniatures shown on this website are handcrafted by myself, Kate. Miniatures have always been an interest and love for most of my life. I have always made my own miniatures but it wasn't until I received a birthday present of fimo that it all began. As with most beginners my first attempts were awful! But with lots of encouragement, practice and research into the material I have gradually improved to create the miniature items you see now.
My aim is to create handcrafted miniatures that look as realistic as possible. This means I research into each item thoroughly by looking at cookery books, the internet and with the real life item - theres nothing like looking at a chocolate gateau or meringue to get the imagination going! The name 'good enough to eat' came about from a customer who described one of my miniature pizzas as being 'good enough to eat'. When I received similar comments about other items the name just stuck.
